Yesterday I braved taking all four kids to the museum of natural history in Ann Arbor. And actually, other than having to walk about 5 blocks from the parking structure to the museum, everything went pretty well. The boys loved looking at all the dinosaurs, and especially trying to say the long names of all the different kinds of dinosaurs:) So here are a few pics from our museum field trip:) Tanner and Logan were so funny...they had these cot chairs for people to use if they wanted to carry them around the museum to sit and read the captions about the displays, etc. So Logan and Tanner carried their little chairs all around and stopped and sat down to look at each display (for about 2 seconds til they moved to the next one:) The one of them looking at the Native Americans was funny when I heard what they were saying...Logan was explaining to Tanner that the Indian ladies weren't wearing shirts because they had to nurse their babies...I guess they've been around too much nursing lately:) All in all, it was a good day:)
Dear Super Woman, I love that you not only take the whole bunch of Barb cuties to a museum... you let them get the little chairs AND you take pictures of everything. So fun!
Way to go with all 4! Those boys are too cute...that conversation made me laugh so hard! You have to let me know about all the cool places to venture out to! =0)

Why I Blog...
"You likewise will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of these meaningful and significant things. Some of them may be funny. Some may be of significance only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience." Gordon B. Hinckley was president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when this devotional address was delivered on 31 October 2006.

ReplyDeleteYa know...that's probably one of the reasons why they didn't wear shirts. :) They are so observant! That made me laugh!
