Mother/Daughter pedicures:)

Today I gave Mallory her first pedicure:) I painted her and my toe nails the same color. Next time I think I'll wait til she's asleep when she's not so wiggly:) I'm having so much fun doing this girl thing:)

U of M natural history museum

Yesterday I braved taking all four kids to the museum of natural history in Ann Arbor. And actually, other than having to walk about 5 blocks from the parking structure to the museum, everything went pretty well. The boys loved looking at all the dinosaurs, and especially trying to say the long names of all the different kinds of dinosaurs:) So here are a few pics from our museum field trip:) Tanner and Logan were so funny...they had these cot chairs for people to use if they wanted to carry them around the museum to sit and read the captions about the displays, etc. So Logan and Tanner carried their little chairs all around and stopped and sat down to look at each display (for about 2 seconds til they moved to the next one:) The one of them looking at the Native Americans was funny when I heard what they were saying...Logan was explaining to Tanner that the Indian ladies weren't wearing shirts because they had to nurse their babies...I guess they've been around too much nursing lately:) All in all, it was a good day:)

Darling Doll and Dudes in their Duds

So for some reason my blog only lets me put on five pictures per post, so here are some more Easter pics of me with my darlings:)

Easter Sunday

Here's the kids sportin' their Easter duds:) I may be biased:), but I thought they look darling today. Scott thought I was so funny because I put thought and effort into making sure the kids looked all "Easter-y" today. For some reason, it may be silly, but I get a kick out of it. So Scott and the kids had to humor me and let me take pictures of them before church...and let me tell ya...that's no small feat (as you can tell when you look at the picture of us trying to get all four kids together:)

Playing Easter Bunny

I love playing the Easter Bunny! When I grew up my parents always sprinkled and hid candy and filled eggs all over the house and we had to go around and collect it all...so I have continued that tradition with my kids. Tanner and Logan woke up this morning filled with anticipation. We heard them wake up and look downstairs and scream with excitement "The Easter Bunny came!" and then of course they woke us up so they could start collecting it. We had colored hard boiled eggs for breakfast. All in all...it was a great Easter morning!

A Little Surprise!!

After church today, Scott and Tanner were playing around...and I was taking pictures of Scott tickling Tanner...when all of a sudden Scott yells out "Are you peeing on me Tanner?!". It was sooo funny...Scott tickled Tanner so hard that he peed on him!...I thought it was hilarious...Scott...not so much:) hehe...

Happy Birthday Relief Society!

Our ward celebrated the Relief Society's birthday for Enrichment night on Thursday. A few of the sisters dressed up like past RS presidents. It was a great evening. Relief Society is the largest women's organization in the world and I'm proud to be a part of it!

An Anniversary Tribute to My Husband!

This Friday, my dear Scottie and I will celebrate our 11th Anniversary!....I love him so much and wanted to take a minute to say all the wonderful things I love about him! He is so loyal and devoted to me and our family. He is attentive to my needs and is self-sacrificing and often gives us things he wants and his time so I can have the things or time that I want. He is a very hard worker and good provider. He is organized, direct, strong in his convictions. He gave up alot to join the church and convert to the gospel. He takes me to the temple often. He is EXTREMELY prayerful. I have never met anyone so devoted to praying as Scott. He is a wonderful father (and a good compliment to me as a mother...he is strict where I am not). He gives the boys baths, reads them stories, and watches the kids whenever I need so I can have time out in the evenings. He is frugal and a good money manager. He plans for the future and always put our family first. He prioritizes well. He is neat and efficient. He takes care of our cars:) Scott has an inner side of him that is very sensitive and romantic. I love him so much and am so happy to be married to him. I feel my life is complete with my wonderful husband and four beautiful kids...he has given me a great 11 years and a wonderful life. Happy Anniversary Scott!

Love Julie

A visit with the Easter Bunny!

Today we went and saw the Easter Bunny:) I think I was actually more into it than Logan and Tanner were. They were kinda like "ok, let's get this bunny thing over with so we can go to the mall play area and then get ice cream":)
I guess I should have lifted Mallory's hat up huh...she can't even see!:) The things I make her go through with the dresses, bows, hats...poor girl has to put up with me:)
See, doesn't Tanner seem so thrilled to be there:)
My little cutie...It was actually warm today...almost 50 degrees whoo hoo...got to break out a spring dress (well sort of...under her blankets in her carseat:)
I couldn't resist...Tanner and Logan thought they were so funny looking because the mirror made them look so tall and skinny...the fun discoveries in childhood:)
